Inner Calm aims to become a framework within which its members together form a formidable force within the Eve Universe, whilst avoiding that Inner Calm become a monolithic organisation or a virtual work-place.
Member Vision
Inner Calm is primarily a corporation of individuals who wish to do their own thing, forming ad-hoc groupings only as and when those individuals wish to do so.
Members are expected to be both self-sufficient and supportive of each other and rather than dependent on Inner Calm for day to day activities.
When not at war, there are no mandatory missions or donations required of players1.
However, Inner Calm will contract members to carry out activities for the corporation through the contracting system. Special training missions will also be provided whereby training skills that are beneficial to the corporation and other members will be rewarded.
Additionally, through the Inner Calm Investment Bank, funds may be deposited with Inner Calm in order to grow both the funds of the organisation AND member account holders. Unlike typical corporation donations, such balances may then be later withdrawn or used as security for other activities.
Members who wish to have a permanent base within a specific system - perhaps for purposes of their own, or in response to a corporate mission -, either together or with others, may do so (if system not already taken) - and should contact the CEO who will create the appropriate access rights for this.
Corporate Vision
Some corporations 'do' stuff. Inner Calm intends to have things done - preferably by its members.
The corporation will not produce stuff as such; but will rather have things produced: either by its members, trusted third parties, or even, if required, by complete strangers. Such production may be for other members or may be for the market. Such production activities will be chosen to to ensure members are able to operate within particular systems and have all the supporting infrastructure to remain there, fully armed. Special contracts will be created for the corporation so that manufacturing members may aid Inner Calm in getting things done. These will specify both what, where, and why so members can understand where they are fitting in within wider corporation plans.
Inner Calm intends eventually to have offices and operate in all areas its members wish to. Expansion and movement from high sec to low sec will be encouraged / guided also via the contracts system, with corporate missions designed to help establish members within an expanding range of systems.
